A 38-year-old cyclist has been killed in a collision at a busy intersection at Merivale Road and West Hunt Club.
Ottawa Police say the crash involved a large commercial truck.
It happened near Merivale Road & Roydon Place around 8 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013
The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two westbound lanes of West Hunt Club reopened to traffic just before the noon hour.
Other roads in the area remain closed.
Police are asking commuters to avoid the area while officers investigate.
