Parents dropping off their kids at a home daycare in west Quebec Tuesday morning arrived to find a drug bust unfolding.

Police were at the Cantley home and arrested the couple who owned the house after raiding it and finding more than 200 marijuana plants.

The cannabis was found above the garage attached to the home.

Police spokesperson with the MRC des Collines de l'Outaouais, Martin Fournel, said officers also seized equipment related to the growing of the plants.

The couple is being questioned by investigators.
