A minor collision that caused a major backlog on the Queensway during the height of rush hour on Thursday, was cleared by the dinner hour, allowing traffic to resume to the city's west end.
At one point, traffic on the Queensway appeared to be backed up all the way to Highway 174, following a crash between a tanker truck and another large truck.
Ontario provincial police say the crash happened in the centre westbound lane, near the highway's Woodroffe Avenue exit. Nobody was injured in the crash.
