Colleen Walker is a champion for people with disabilities.
She started losing her hearing in her early 20s, but didn't let that stop her from living life.
Adapting to her new reality, she learned to lip read. She was also one of the first people in Canada to have a hearing ear dog.
Colleen also holds a special place in CTV's Kimothy Walker's heart. She's her mother.
