The City of Ottawa has reported its fourth swine flu-related death. Health officials say all of the victims had underlying medical conditions.

So far, 361 residents have tested positive for swine flu. Sixty-nine people have been admitted to hospital for the virus; half of them are younger than 20 years old.

Meanwhile, 10 members of the Ceremonial Guard are in isolation after showing symptoms consistent with swine flu earlier this week.

"We were advised of the situation. What we understand is that these individuals became symptomatic with flu-like symptoms and the appropriate measures were taken. They were put in isolation, they are not quarantined," said Dr. Isra Levy, the city's medical officer of health.

Levy said the individuals were put in isolation at Carleton University because that's where they were residing when they became ill.

He said those monitoring the situation took the appropriate measures to ensure the virus did not get passed on to those around them.

Although the guard members were not tested for swine flu, Levy said they were put in isolation because it's possible they got sick from the virus. All of them are feeling better and none of them received any treatment for the illness.

A spokesperson for the Ceremonial Guard said one of its members is expected to be released from isolation on Friday; the others are expected to be released over the weekend.
