A $9-million footbridge is being planned in Ottawa to link a transit stop in the city's east end to the Ottawa baseball stadium.
The bridge would cross over Highway 417 at the Transitway, near the Via Rail train station.
Currently, pedestrians who hop off the bus near the train station have to take a long walk along Riverside Drive or Belfast Road to get to the baseball stadium.
The city's draft budget includes more than $1 million for design work.
