Two men have been charged after an Ottawa police investigation into the illegal export of stolen vehicles from Canada to Lebanon.

Police executed a search warrant at Anthony's 31 Collision and Auto Sales at 4884 Bank St. on Wednesday. They seized $400,000 worth of vehicles and parts, working with the RCMP, Canada Border Services Agency, and the Insurance Bureau of Canada.

Hanna Tanios was charged with fraudulent concealment and possession of stolen property over $5,000. Ayad Tirani, formerly of Ottawa but now believed to be in Lebanon, was also charged. Police also charged both men with conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.
