Ottawa Police have charged two men with assault and robbery after an incident Tuesday night.
Police say around 8 p.m. a man in his 30's was assaulted by three male suspects in the area of Nicholas and Waller Streets in Ottawa's downtown.
They say the man also had a cell phone taken from him during the assault. Police say the robbery does not appear to be random and that one suspect was carrying a metal baton.
28-year-olds James and Sean Cundell are both charged with robbery with an offensive weapon, assault causing bodily harm, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, and possession of a prohibited weapon.
Police say they are looking for a third suspect, but that no physical description is available.
