Ottawa Police have laid charges against a Carleton Place man following a child luring investigation.
Police say the man contacted an officer posing as a young teenage girl on a social media site and made arrangements to meet her for a sexual encounter. He was arrested at the location.
36-year-old Collin Monette is charged with two counts of computer contact with a person under 16 years of age and two counts of computer contact with a person under 18 years of age for a sexual purpose.
He’s scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
