Nearly two months after Allan Mott's body was discovered in a gully on Station Road, near Kingston, police investigators have named a person who will be charged in relation to his death.

David Pereira Amorim, 30, is charged with first-degree murder in the 53-year-old's death.

Station Road residents told CTV that the area Mott was found in on Feb. 1 -- located near Highway 401 -- is a popular dumping ground for trash.

Police did not reveal any details about the cause of death or the circumstances that led to the charge, as the death remains under investigation. Amorim will appear in court Monday.
