Ottawa's newest millionaire has his sights set on a new truck and new ATV machine to enjoy his winnings.

Auto parts foreman Leon Stiles of Carp, Ont. won the $1M top prize last week playing the Instant $100 Million$ Fortune game.

“I was at a coffee shop when I decided to scratch my ticket,” he says, collecting his winnings at the OLG prize centre in Toronto. “I wasn’t sure if I won anything so I showed it to my nephew and he said, ‘You won a million dollars!’”

The 56-year-old father of three and grandfather of two returned to the same store where he purchased the winning ticket. “I gave the ticket to the cashier. When it was scanned the machine froze!”

When he learned he won, Stiles drove straight to Toronto to claim his prize. He plans to buy a new truck and a new 4-wheeler with his windfall.

The winning ticket was purchased at Convenience K on William Street in Cobourg, Ont.
