Devine, 54, has been a trustee with the Renfrew County Catholic District School Board, a school council chair, and a Liberal riding executive.
A registered nurse, she has taught at Algonquin College's Pembroke campus, been a manager at Renfrew Victoria Hospital, and worked at Bonnechere Manor in Renfrew. She is currently executive director of Supples Landing, a Pembroke retirement home.
Devine grew up in Renfrew County, where she now lives with husband Joe. She also coaches with the Pembroke Soccer Club.
