A middle-aged man is wanted after a 21-year-old woman was abducted and raped Wednesday night in Lanark County.
The Carleton Place woman was bicycling near Industrial Drive after 8:30 p.m. when a vehicle stopped. She was forced inside and driven to another location, where she was sexually assaulted.
She was left on the 8th Concession near Mississippi Mills, where police found her at about 10 p.m.
The victim was taken to Carleton Place Hospital, treated, and released.
The suspect is described as a white male, 45 to 55 years old, with grey or salt-and-pepper short shaved hair, a weathered face, and a thin build. He was wearing a white T-shirt.
His car is described as a dark-coloured four-door newer model with a clean interior.
