Carleton Place custodian Kevin Frost is celebrating a $7-million win this weekend after 21 years of playing his numbers.
Frost said since his numbers came up in the July 16 Lotto 6/49 jackpot, life has been a blur.
He was eating breakfast early one morning when he saw the winning numbers on TV were his.
"I jumped off of the couch and I don't even think my feet touched the floor, it was unbelievable," he said.
In shock, he called his parents at 6 a.m.
"He's a practical joker and you don't know whether to believe him or not," said his father, Barclay Frost.
And then after winning the jackpot, since Frost doesn't plan to quit his job just yet, off he went to work.
"Going to work right now is pretty much one of the only things that makes sense," he said.
He said he plans to spend his winnings on a golfing trip and Montreal Canadiens tickets to start.
"We all want the time in our life when we ... win that money. And then when we finally win it, you just don't know what you're going to do," Frost said.
He also plans to have a family reunion and fly in his brother, who lives on the west coast.
While money has its thrills, Frost says it's his family that is worth millions to him.
