The return of colder weather means Winterlude will likely proceed with most of its weekend schedule, even though the Rideau Canal remained closed Friday night.
Crews will reassess ice conditions on Saturday, but the Snowflake Kingdom at Jacques-Cartier Park in Gatineau will open at 1 p.m.
Confederation Park remains open to visitors.
