Canadian Idol is making a stop in the Capital Saturday and Sunday. Auditions for want-to-be idols will be held at the St. Laurent Shopping Centre between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. both days.
CTV's weather specialist J.J. Clarke auditioned for Ottawa's Media Idol Friday.
Sass Jordan was on hand at CTV's studios to assess J.J.'s singing ability.
J.J.'s performance will go up against personalities from CFRA, BOB-FM and other radio stations.
The winner of Media Idol will receive $1,000 to go towards the charity of his or her choice.
