The government has confirmed a Canadian citizen has died in an incident in the Dominican Republic.
Witnesses and friends have identified the victim as 19-year-old Jordan Morrison of Barrie, Ontario, who is said to have had a mild form of autism.
The man is reported to have died in a bar fight.
Foreign Affairs says four Canadians have been detained by police in the Dominican, but couldn't provide further details.
