Campus raid leads to firearms charges

Ottawa police have arrested a 22-year-old man and are searching for a teenaged girl after seizing a semi-automatic handgun from a University of Ottawa student residence on Tuesday.

Moussa Osman, 22, was charged with 10 firearm-related offences, including possession of a prohibited firearm and possessing a loaded regulated firearm. Osman is from Ottawa but not a student at the University of Ottawa, police said.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Jessica Wallace, 18, of Ottawa. She is white with dyed blonde hair and a thin build.
