KINGSTON, Ont. -- A Brockville, Ont., man is facing charges in an alleged hit and run that killed a 50-year-old woman in Kingston.
Kingston police say the crash happened early Friday when the woman was walking along Highway 2.
They say she was struck by a cargo van that fled the scene.
Police arrested a 75-year-old man later that day and held him in custody.
He's now facing one count each of dangerous driving causing death and failing to stop after an accident causing death.
Police have not released the name of either the victim or the accused.
