An eight-year-old boy has died in hospital from injuries he received when his mother's car was hit by a pickup truck on Maloney Boulevard in Gatineau.
The boy was riding in the front passenger seat when his mother's vehicle was struck by a truck at about 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Gatineau police say the boy's mother was on Maloney Boulevard, trying to turn south on Rue Des Sables when they were hit.
The front passenger side of the vehicle where the boy was sitting sustained the most damage.
