Ontario Provincial Police divers have recovered the body of an Ottawa woman who went missing Wednesday while swimming with friends.
The search for 19-year-old Kristen Cross began about 4:00 p.m. Wednesday on Dalhousie Lake, west of Perth. The teenager had jumped off a personal watercraft to go swimming.
The operator left to pick up another swimmer, but when they returned they couldn't find her.
Police say alcohol is being considered as a contributing factor in the drowning.
