SCUGOG, ONTARIO - The body of a man missing since a boating accident several days ago has been found in Lake Scugog in Ontario's cottage country.

Durham regional police say the body of a 38-year-old man from nearby Washburn Island was found and removed from the lake at about 9 p.m. Sunday.

Police have not released the man's identity as they are still contacting family members.

They are still looking for a 49-year-old man from Thurstonia who was on the boat with him.

The men's boat collided with another boat on Friday night, about 200 metres east of the north end of Scugog Island.

The occupants of the other boat made it to shore where they were assessed by paramedics and released.

An autopsy is scheduled to be performed today.
