It took 20 firefighters and 12 trucks to quell a house fire early this morning in the Aylmer sector of Gatineau.
Firefighters were called to 18 Rue Port Royale at about 2 a.m.
Fire had spread from an enclosed porch to the main floor of the two-storey home.
No one was injured - two residents escaped unharmed.
Damage is estimated at $100,000.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
