HALIBURTON - A post-mortem examination has been scheduled for a 22-year-old Stouffville man who died after being ejected from his snowmobile.

Jeffrey Empringham was riding his snowmobile on Saturday, north of Haliburton, when he failed to make a turn on a trail, flew off the vehicle and hit a tree.

An air ambulance flew to the scene, which was several kilometres into the Haliburton Forest and Wild Life Reserve.

The post mortem will be conducted at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Monday.
