A 20-year-old man wanted for attempted murder at an Ottawa strip club is in police custody after being arrested at the Ottawa International Airport when he returned to Canada from Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.
Gutu Osman Daoud was wanted for attempted homicide and aggravated assault in connection with a shooting at the NuDen strip club on Triole Street just before 1 a.m. on July 5.
Police said an employee was shot twice in the legs. One of the bullets also hit a patron, who suffered a wound to his lower body.
