Arnprior restaurant owner charged with two counts of arson

An Ottawa Valley restaurant owner has been charged with two counts of arson.
After a nearly nine-month long investigation Ontario Provincial Police have charged the owner of Arnprior’s Moe’s Pita Palace, Mustapha Fakih, 52, with arson including disregard for human life and damage to own property.
Emergency crews were called to the restaurant on Madawaska Boulevard after reports of a fire on January 19, 2014.
Fakih is scheduled to appear in Renfrew court on October 1, 2014.
