The Ottawa area has yet another lottery winner, this time $11.5 million in the Lotto 6/49 draw.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation said Monday the winning ticket from Saturday's draw was bought in the Ottawa region.

There is no information on the identity of the winner or winners yet.

This win comes after a number of lottery wins in recent months, including a $50 Lotto Max million win by a Hawkesbury couple in January.

Gaetan and Jo-Ann Champagne will officially claim their winnings on Wednesday after an investigation by the OLG because the couple previously owned a convenience store.

Ten people in Aylmer, Que. won $16.6 million as part of another $50 million Lotto Max jackpot in early February, while a Brockville couple won $15 million just days later from the same lottery.
