For the second time in a week, a Kanata family has struck it rich through a lottery jackpot.

Kenneth and Elizabeth Fraser picked up their $1 million dollar cheque this week after hitting the right numbers in the Lotto 6/49 draw.

The Frasers won a new jackpot called the Guaranteed $1 MILLION Prize Draw.

The Frasers talked about their future plans in a news release by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.

We plan on using the money to pay off debt, top up our RSPs and help out our kids. We may do some home renovations too.” said Kenneth.

“And we’ll be going on a second honeymoon!” added Elizabeth, a nurse.

They purchased their winning ticket at Your Independent Grocer on Eagleson Road in Kanata.

Last week, another Kanata woman, Nadine Woolsey won the Cash for Life lottery.

Woolsey will collect $2 thousand a week for the rest of her life.
