A weekend in cottage country turns grim after a man drowns at Big Gull Lake north of Peterborough.
Police say it was just after 8 p.m. on Sunday when they received a call of a drowning on Coleman Lane.
The man has been identified as 32-year-old Joshua McKinnon of Pickering.
Police say foul play is not suspected, however alcohol is believed to be a factor.
A post mortem is scheduled to occur at Kingston General Hospital.
