William Eltherington
ContactWilliam Eltherington is a Digital Multi-Skilled Journalist with CTV News Ottawa contributing content to television, radio and digital platforms.
William is a graduate of Carleton University's Master of Journalism program and his work has appeared in the Ottawa Citizen and the Globe and Mail. After graduating in 2023, he worked as a reporter for The Canadian Press in Toronto before joining the CTV News digital team in October 2023.
He is most passionate about covering politics and transit issues but has a wide variety of interests.
He grew up in Palo Alto, Calif. and has lived in Canada since 2016. He studied Political Science at the University of Victoria and attended the University of Copenhagen for a semester in 2019.
William grew up speaking English and French at home and has taken courses in Spanish and Danish.
