Melissa Juergensen
Melissa has a passion for breaking news and online journalism. Originally from Kitimat, B.C., Melissa is now happy to call Ottawa home.
Melissa has a combined honours degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Carleton University. Sheʼs worked as a reporter/editor/online producer for The Canadian Press and was an online editor at Canadian Geographic Magazine. When Melissa is not busy following the news, she can be found at the local swimming pool. Melissa became a competitive swimmer when she was eight years old. Although she no longer competes, she still enjoys swimming laps in her spare time.
