OPP have charged a 78-year-old man for murder in connection to the death of his 83-year-old wife.
On Jan. 25, OPP constables responded to a 911 call at a home on Concession Road 1, in Lefaivre, Ontario, in the Alfred-Plantagenet area, for reports of a deceased woman.
When OPP and paramedics arrived, they found the body of 83-year-old Zdenka Sekora.
According to an OPP investigation, her death is the result of foul play.
Her husband, 78-year-old Robert Edgar, was arrested on Friday and charged with second degree murder.
He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court in L’Orignal, Ontario on Monday.
