OTTAWA - The Ottawa Police Service Break & Enter Unit have charged Martin Dupuis, 34 years old of Ottawa in relation to the two break-ins which occurred in Sandy Hill on September 29, 2013.

Dupuis was arrested this morning by Patrol officers after a warrant was issued for his arrest. He has been charged with:

  • Break and Enter (3 counts)
  • Sexual Assault
  • Attempt to commit an indictable offence
  • Theft under $5000
  • Breach of Undertaking
  • Trespass at night

Mr. Dupuis is scheduled to appear in court on Friday morning.

On September 30, 2013 police investigators released a surveillance photo; and it was through that release that he was identified by members of the public. The Ottawa Police would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance.

Investigators and crime analysts continue to search unsolved cases which may be connected to Mr. Dupuis.
