BELLEVILLE, Ont. -- Three people are facing charges following what's being described as a $1-million fraud investigation in Belleville, Ont.

Belleville police say they were contacted by representatives of a local financial institution last October about the actions of a former employee.

Police allege more than $1 million dollars had been stolen between January 2010 and June 2015.

Belleville residents Cheryll Drumm, 46, George Misuraca, 54 and Allan Lasher, 52, have been charged with fraud over $5,000 and theft over $5,000.

Drumm is also charged with money laundering and breach of trust, and Misuraca is additionally charged with breach of trust.

All three were released from custody and will appear in court on June 16. (CJOJ)
