A 23-year-old man is dead and another man of the same age is in serious condition after an early morning crash in the Eagleson Rd. and Fallowfield Rd. area, paramedics say.
Emergency crews were called to the scene of a serious single-vehicle crash around 4:00 a.m. Sunday morning.
The two young men were inside the vehicle. One suffered a fatal head injury and was pronounced dead at the scene. The other suffered serious back injuries and was rushed to hospital.
Ottawa police are on scene investigating, and have closed Eagleson Rd. from Faulkner Trail to Akins Rd. as well as Fallowfield Rd. from Shea to Old Richmond Rds. until further notice.
