Juicing Recipe (Mom’s Favourite Feel-Good Concoction)

  • 3 Carrots
  • 3 Celery Stalks
  • ½ English cucumber
  • Handful of Parsley
  • Cube of Ginger
  • 1 Apple or Beet

(Optional: Could add a leafy green such as kale or romaine or spinach. Omit the apple or beet if you prefer less sweetness)

Drink immediately, within 15 minutes.

Smoothie Recipe (Janet’s Morning Blend)

  • Kale (fistful)
  • Romaine Lettuce (fistful)
  • ½ English cucumber
  • 1 Mango
  • ½ Avocado
  • 1-1/2 cups water
  • Ice cubes
  • Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 2 tblsp Hemp Hearts
  • Pinch of cinnamon, nutmeg, turmeric (or to taste)

(Optional: You could add a tablespoon of Organic Traditions Acai Berry Powder or Blueberry Powder for even more of an antioxidant hit.)

Blend thoroughly in a blender. You can keep it for several hours in your fridge.
