2 to 3 cm of snow in the forecast for Ottawa this Wednesday

An amount of two to three centimetres of snow is in the forecast for Ottawa this Wednesday.

Environment Canada calls for a high of 2 C, cloudy skies and periods of snow beginning near noon. A low of -6 C and a 60 per cent chance of flurries are expected for tonight.

On Thursday, a low of -4 C with a 40 per cent chance of flurries are expected. A low of -9 C and cloudy skies are in the forecast for the night.

Friday will see a high of -6 C and a 30 per cent chance of flurries. A low of -9 C and a 30 per cent chance of flurries are in the forecast for the night.

The average temperatures for this time of year are a high of -4 C and a low of -12 C.
