3 drivers facing impaired driving charges in Lanark County

A 61-year-old man is facing impaired driving charges following a single-vehicle crash in Mississippi Mills Township.

Ontario Provincial Police responded to the crash on Waba Road at approximately 6:10 p.m. Sunday.

Lanark County OPP say a man was arrested at the scene and transported to the Renfrew OPP Detachment for testing.  The driver is facing charges of operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) and operation while impaired – alcohol.

Another driver is facing an impaired driving charge after officers responded to a traffic complaint on Highway 7 in Beckwith Township last Friday.

"Officers arrested one driver and transported the individual to the Carleton Place Detachment for testing," the OPP said.

A 58-year-old man is facing a charge of operation while impaired.

Ottawa driver facing charges 

A 44-year-old Ottawa man is facing impaired driving charges following a single-vehicle crash on Monday.

Police responded to the crash on Highway 7 in Drummond/North Elmsley Township at approximately 8:30 p.m.

"Officers investigating the collision arrested one of the drivers and transported the individual to the Lanark Detachment for testing," the OPP said.
