The long weekend has finally arrived and for those sticking around the capital there is plenty to do this weekend.

On Friday there is an outdoor screening of Grease taking place in the Byward Market from 8p.m. until 11p.m.

As well, it is the final weekend for the Canadian Tulip Festival which ends on Monday. The fireworks show is scheduled for the Sunday evening at TD Place for 9p.m.

There is also the Sheep Shearing Festival at the Canadian Agriculture and Food Museum until Sunday.

Here is what is open and closed Victoria Day Monday:

The market vendors will be downtown selling throughout the entire weekend.

The Rideau Centre and the Byward Market will be open on Victoria Day. All other malls, grocery stores, LCBO locations, beer stores and banks will be closed. All client services will be closed at Ottawa City Hall.

There will be no curbside green bin, recycling or garbage collection on Monday – they will be delayed by one day.

O-C Transpo will operate on a reduced Sunday Schedule.

As well, all city-operated child care centres and Ottawa Public Library branches will be closed.
