A precautionary boil water advisory is in effect for Vars, east of Ottawa.
Low pressure in the communal well system is potentially causing soil to seep into watermain pipes. Residents are asked to boil water for at least a minute before consuming it.
It's not clear how long the boil water advisory will last.
