A northern-Quebec man is dead after a motorcycle and car collided near St. Isidore, Ontario just east of Casselman.
OPP were called to the scene around 9:40 a.m. Thursday, Sept.18, 2014. A Yamaha motorcycle driven by Sylvain Coulombe, 38, of St-Eugene-Guigues Quebec, was driving southbound on County Road 20 when it collided with a Chevrolet Cavalier. The Cavalier, driven by a 77 year old Gatineau woman, was turning onto County Road 20 from the eastbound Highway 417 off-ramp at the time of the crash.
OPP say Coulombe died at the scene.
Roads around the scene were closed for hours, causing some long delays for drivers. All roads have since re-opened.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision investigators are now trying to determine exactly what happened. No charges have been laid.
