Tommy and Lefebvre will continue to operate for at least the next year with its current management and sales force. Sporting Life says the deal will strengthen its overall national presence. When Sporting Life Lansdowne opens 2014 - the T and L team will move into its 43,000 square foot location. Sporting Life currently has three locations, all in Toronto.

Natalie Tommy, Vice President of T and L says the deal is good for customers, and it would be better to merge both companies rather than compete.
