Taylor Swift performed in front of 13,500 screaming fans in Ottawa on Monday evening. The 1989 World Tour brought her most dedicated fans to the Canadian Tire Centre to see the sold out show.

“We are actually doing three shows this week. We are going to be here tonight, Montreal tomorrow, and New Jersey on Friday, and then the two shows in Toronto, because we are from Toronto,” says one fan.

Two other teens tell CTV they flew in from New Zealand to watch their favourite singer perform.

“We plan on seeing her again in Melbourne in December as well, and hopefully she comes to New Zealand eventually,” said the girls.

Swift opened the show with ‘Welcome To New York’ and featured favourites like ‘Bad Blood’ and ‘Shake It Off’. After her performance in Ottawa Swift, moved two hours down the road to Montreal, where she will perform on Tuesday evening.
