A burning bookshelf in the stairwell of a University of Ottawa building early Monday morning has investigators looking into arson.
Firefighters were called to the university’s Art Building at 70 Laurier Avenue around 1 a.m. after security reported alarms going off.
When crews arrived, it didn't take long to find the shelf of books on fire and out the flames.
Officials describe the incident as suspicious. The investigation continues.
