Suspect arrested in Ottawa neighbourhood robberies

Ottawa Police charged a 34 year old Ottawa man who may be responsible for a string of residential robberies in the Civic Hospital area, Kanata and the Glebe.
The suspect was charged following a break and enter at a home on Gilmour Street Wednesday afternoon.
Police moved in after he left the home and the suspect fled in his vehicle eventually crashing into three police vehicles.
There were no injuries.
Emmet Patrick Quinn faces a number of charges including breaking and entering, and possession of a weapon. Quinn was to make his first court appearance on Thursday.
