Another heartbreaking loss by the Ottawa REDBLACKS, this time losing 15-7 to the Montreal Alouettes. The Ottawa REDBLACKS blew another great opportunity in the dying seconds of their game. The REDBLACKS had a chance to tie it up with 2 seconds left in the game but a bad snap left the REDBLACKS and fans shaking their heads again.
Quarterback Henry Burris was shaken up late in the 4th quarter. Danny O'Brien, who turned 24 today, made a brief appearance. The only touchdown for the REDBLACKS came in the 2nd quarter from Jonathan Williams.
Frustration definately mounting for the REDBLACKS as they drop to 1-11 and lose their 9th straight game. Head Coach Rick Campbell just as frustrated as his players " I don't know what to say. Our guys play hard but that's not the object of the game. We've got to figure out how to win"
The REDBLACKS will get that chance next Friday when the Winnipeg Blue Bombers visit Ottawa.
