The Ottawa REDBLACKS ended their regular season at home with another disappointing loss falling to the Hamilton Ticats 34-25.

The REDBLACKS ran with the ball with great success but their turnovers did them in. The Ticats scored 21 points thanks to turnovers.

After a missed field goal attempt in the first quarter by Ottawa, the REDBLACKS respond  as Jeremiah Johnson scores his first of 2 rushing touchdowns.Ottawa held a 15-14 lead at the half.

Late in the 3rd quarter is when the wheels started to fall off for the REDBLACKS. Ticats took the lead when Brandon Stewart scored on an interception giving Hamilton a 24-22 lead.

4th quarter kicker Brett Maher nailed a 42 yard field goal pulling  the REDBLACKS to within 2 points. Ottawa trailed 27-25 with 8 minutes left in regulation.

 With about 5 minutes left in the game, REDBLACKS quarterback Henry Burris throws an interception into the arms of Ticats cornerback Delvin Breaux, who returns the interception 27 yards for the touchdown. Hamilton wins 34-25 in front of a 9th consecutive sellout at TD place.

The REDBLACKS wrap up their season on the road in Toronto against the Argos next Friday November 7th.
