Ottawa area school boards say school bus service is running Tuesday morning.  However, boards are warning parents and students to expect delays due to heavy rainfall overnight coupled with slick road conditions.

The following school boards have cancelled school bus service for Tuesday:

Renfrew County District School Board.

Commission Scolaires des Draveurs service Cantley, Val-des-Monts and Gatineau north of Highway 50.

Commission Scolaire des Portages-de-l'Outaouais has cancelled classes in some schools in the Pontiac Sector, La Peche, Chelsea and there are bus cancellations for  Hollow Glen.

Western Quebec School Board has cancelled buses for Chelsea, Paltimore, Queen Elizabeth, St. Michael, and Wakefield. Schools remain open.

The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario is reporting isolated cancellations of some routes.

The slick road conditions have created commuter chaos.  Ottawa Police report more than 15 collisions on area roads as of 7:15 Tuesday morning.
