Ottawa Police have charged a 57-year-old Ottawa man with theft after two jerseys intended for a charity auction were stolen from a shop at Carlingwood Mall in early August.

The custom framed jerseys were autographed by goaltenders Corey Crawford Martin Brodeur, and intended for a charity auction. They were taken from a room inside the Rexall at Carlingwood Mall on August 10th, and returned a few days later after the story became public.

On Wednesday, September 2, Ottawa Police charged 57-year-old Robert Crevier with theft and mischief under $5,000, and possession of stolen property.

Crevier is scheduled to appear in court on September 28, 2015.
