A Petawawa man is facing internet luring charges.
The OPP’s Child Sexual Exploitation Unit has arrested and charged 24 year old Thomas Weldon Field. He’s accused of engaging in an unlawful text conversation with someone posing as an 11 year old boy. He’s also charged with one count of Invitation to Sexual Touching.
Police say they launched the investigation after a complaint.
The allegations have not been proven in court.
Field will have a bail hearing in Pembroke on Friday.
